Evening

Evening, a gentle rain is falling.  There is no breeze.
When you think where you were,
nine or so months ago,
things aren't so bad:
financially and more.
Outside, the air is grey with drizzle.

A neighbourhood of summer houses,
communities gated.
A man plays tennis
behind a covered forest
mist shrouded and alone.
